Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of memoru, including the Chrome extension and the web app. By using memoru you agree to these terms.
1. The service
memoru helps you capture live captions from supported meeting sites, sync transcripts when signed in, and generate AI summaries from the web app. memoru does not join your call as a bot.
2. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address to sign in. You are responsible for activity under your account. Keep your sign-in links and devices secure.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not use memoru to violate law or the rights of others.
- Do not attempt to access other users’ meetings or data.
- Do not abuse rate limits, reverse engineer with intent to attack, or disrupt the service.
- Do not upload or sync unlawful content.
4. AI summaries
Summaries are generated by third-party language models from your transcript text. Summaries may contain errors. You must verify important action items and decisions against the full transcript. memoru does not guarantee accuracy or completeness of AI output.
5. Intellectual property
You retain rights to your transcript content. You grant memoru a limited license to store and process that content to provide the service. memoru branding and software remain ours.
6. Subscriptions (when enabled)
When monetization is enabled, paid plans are billed by our Merchant of Record. Plan limits, renewal, cancellation, and refunds follow the processor’s checkout terms and our plan descriptions on the web app. Free features may change with notice.
7. Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, memoru and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.
9. Termination
You may stop using memoru at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, security risk, or material breach of these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after the updated date means you accept the changes.
